Valko Petrov finished the specialty on Physics in Sofia University St.Kliment Ohridski in 1970. Since 1973 he works for BAS on the questions of mathematical modeling in physiological biophysics, cellular biomechanics and molecular biodynamics. He has Ph.D. on biomechanics and a habilitation on the same topic.During the period 1990-2011 he was a head of the section on Biodynamics and Biorheology in IMech- BAS. He was a leader of International and National projects on the problems of cell signalling by ERK and STAT pathways, and modeling micro-RNA expression. Elena Nikolova finished magistrate on Medical physics in the Physical faculty of Sofia University “St.Kliment Ohridski” during 2002, and in 2007 she successfully defended Ph.D. dissertation on the scientific specialty 02.02.07-Biomechanics in the Institute of mechanics to BAS. In 2008 she is appointed on the position of professor-assistant in the abovementioned organization. Her professional interests are in the field of systems biology, mathematical modeling of immunological, cellular and genetic processes, nonlinear dynamics and qualitative analysis.

Vladimir Kotev received diploma for machine engineer in Technical university during 2002, and in 2007 he successfully defended Ph.D. dissertation on the scientific specialty 02.02.07-Biomechanics in the Institute of mechanics to BAS. In 2008 he is appointed on the position of professor-assistant in the abovementioned organization. His professional interests are in the field of robotics, mechatronics and systems biology.

Mirona Mironova finished magistrate on Civil Engineering of University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy – Sofia. Since 1989 she works for BAS in the Central Laboratory of Physico - Chemical Mechanics and after in the Institute of Mechanics. In 2002 she successfully defended Ph.D. theses and in 2007 she is appointed on the position of associated professor in the abovementioned organization. Her professional interests are in the field of composite materials, processes of diffusion in porous media and mathematical modeling in applied mechanics.

History
It is established as a Society under the same name by Contract between GIS-Transfer Center – Fondation and Institute of Mechanics of BAS in 21.03.2011 in Sofia. The mission of Center is to develop transfer-activity for common use and to achieving specific scientific and research targets in accordance of topics of competence of its experts.
Services
1. Studying internet data bases for human and organism genomes in the environment, in order to apply the methods of molecular bioinformatics and systems biodynamics for supplying with estimations for health, medical and economical utility, and potential risks.
- Identification and annotation of regulators in biochemical networks and physiological systems in various cases of highly widespread diseases (cancer, cardio-vascular disease, diabet etc).
- Modelling the functions of key regulators in gene expression in order to finding activators and inhibitora of the protein synthesis for various disfunctions of the cell metabolism in norm and pathology.
- Development and realization of internet-based systems for distance usage and for accomplishing the above-described activities.
